Science Teacher job summary
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our dedicated team at Castlefield Campus. This role would involve being responsible for Key Stage 3 science.
- A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.
- Experience of teaching Science to Key Stage 3 pupils.
- Excellent understanding of assessment in Science, using this to improve outcomes for all learners.
- Experience of planning high interest activities to make Science come alive to this SEMH cohort.
- High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work as a team.
- The ability to work towards deadlines.
- The ability to motivate both students and your peers.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Experience innovating to deliver the curriculum.

Castlefield Campus is a Special School for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. We have recently expanded our provision and now have a brand-new building which has been designed to deliver our therapeutic vision.
