Are you passionate about making science come to life? We are looking for a proactive and organized Science Technician to provide vital technical support to our teaching staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a hands-on role in delivering an engaging curriculum within a safe, well-maintained laboratory environment.

The Role

As a key member of our science department, you will ensure that practical learning happens seamlessly and safely. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Setting up specialist equipment and materials for lessons and research projects.

  • Maintaining high safety standards, managing hazardous materials, and minimising risks.

  • Checking, calibrating, and repairing laboratory tools and equipment.

  • Keeping our labs stocked, organized, and ready for action.

About You

We are looking for a conscientious professional with a "solutions-focused" attitude. You should have:

  • At least 3 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above), including English, Maths, and Science.

  • Strong communication and numeracy skills, with a responsible approach to Health & Safety.

  • A calm-under-pressure demeanor and a genuine commitment to safeguarding the welfare of young people.

  • Experience in a school or lab environment, or knowledge of the KS3-KS5 curriculum, is highly desirable.
