Callington Community College, part of the Westcountry Schools Trust (WeST), is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Technician to support our thriving Science Department.
In this rewarding role, you will prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons, help maintain laboratories and stock, support health and safety compliance, and work closely with teaching staff to ensure students benefit from engaging and inspiring practical experiences.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and reliable
- Has good ICT and administrative skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys supporting young people to succeed
- Shares our values of collaboration, aspiration, integrity, compassion and respect
Previous laboratory experience is desirable, particularly within a school or college setting, but we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
