Science Technician job summary

An opportunity has arisen with the University of Kent Academies Trust for a Science Technician to join the Brompton Academy Science Department. This is a permanent appointment for 37 hours per week, term time only, plus 2 weeks to be worked during school closure periods.

The Science Technician will support the teaching staff and will ensure that equipment is maintained, and adequate levels of materials and equipment are available for use. They will also assist the teaching staff in demonstrating the use of equipment.

This position would ideally suit an experienced Technician who is looking to develop their skills further in a large and supportive department, offering plenty of opportunities for professional growth.
