Brownhills Ormiston Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Science Technician to join our dedicated team.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who thrives in a busy environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in practical science activities and experiments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational experience of our students and to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.

The successful candidate will join an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Science team.

The successful candidate will:

  • GCSE Grade A - C (Grade 4 or above) in Maths, English and Science
  • Possess strong curriculum knowledge
  • Provide practical assistance to support the science curriculum
  • Strong organisational, personal time management and planning skills
  • Have the ability to use all Microsoft Office packages to a proficient standard
  • Have the ability to work well in a team and independently
