Science Technician job summary

32.5 hours per week. 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our department ethos focuses on the passion we all share for Science. Both teachers and technicians work closely together and pride ourselves on mutual support and teamwork.

We are a forward thinking, innovative department and welcome new ideas.

We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic technician who can join a large dynamic group of people who have a passion for teaching and learning.

Our priority is ensuring that our lessons are engaging, stimulating, relevant and above all promote a genuine interest in Science.

We have ten modern, well equipped Science laboratories; each with an interactive whiteboard and three preparation rooms.

John Colet is a successful 11 – 18 school, with a committed, friendly and supportive team of staff. Both parental and student satisfaction is high.

Our department is a successful one with outstanding progress in Science across all three disciplines at GCSE. We also have good progress in the four A level subjects currently on offer.
