Science Technician job summary
Grade 6 £25,183 to £25,638 per annum pro rata
24 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Working pattern Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning
Working under the direction of the Senior Science Technician, you will provide support for the teaching of Science subjects. Duties will include preparing resources for practical lessons, maintaining science teaching spaces and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
You should have experience of working in a scientific or technical area, knowledge of health and safety including risk assessments, and an ability to work as part of a team. A level 3 science-related qualification and knowledge of the Key Stage 3, 4 and A-Level science curriculum would be advantageous.
Actual salary based on 24 hours is £13,690 - £13,938 per annum.
