The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and outstanding Science Technician with the skills, enthusiasm and drive to be part of our highly successful school.
The successful candidate will assist in our busy, friendly Science Department, actively supporting all aspects of the science department, for example, assisting students and teachers, preparing equipment for science lessons and stock control in our prep rooms.
If you have a science background, good knowledge of safe working practices and preferably some school experience, this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and a range of other recruitment checks. • GCSE English, Maths and a Science subject A*-C or equivalent.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Certificate in First Aid or a willingness to undertake training.
- Successful experience of working in a specialist technical area, possibly in a school environment.
- Science background.
- Use of appropriate equipment.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Knowledge of safe working practices.
- Ability and willingness to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- A commitment to safeguarding all young people.
- Good sense of humour.
- Approachable.
