What skills and experience we're looking for
We require as soon as possible, a permanent Science Technician. The successful applicant will provide resources for experimental work at KS4 (ages 14-16) & KS5 (ages 16-19), be a good team worker who is well organised, have a working knowledge of Science, have practical experience in a related area and a willingness to learn.
What the school offers its staff
Our Technicians, led by the Senior Technician, are part of the Science team who seek to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Department. A working knowledge of ICT is required in order to carry out a number of tasks.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience of working with young people, preferably in a secondary school environment.
