Science Technician job summary

We are looking to appoint a flexible and motivated Science Technician to support the teaching of Science at all key stages from September 2025. Candidates should have the following experience :

  • preparing materials for practical lessons
  • maintaining equipment in the Science Department
  • maintain a clean working environment
  • monitor safe and secure storage of both equipment and materials
  • attend and engage in CLEAPPS training
  • have a good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • good communication skills
  • previous experience of working in a school or college environment is desirable
