What skills and experience we're looking for
This role is suitable for both those with experience working as a lab technician, or someone who is eager to learn new skills.
Technical skills (eg soldering), prior experience with lab safety and good IT skills would be desirable, but not essential as training will be given.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Support Team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team-orientated school graded as ‘Good’ in all categories (Ofsted June 2018). The vacancy is for 30 hours per week and is on a Term Time Only basis, from September 2023.
We are looking for a Science Technician to join our small team of technicians supporting both science staff and students at key stages 3-5.
You will prepare, maintain and assist with safe use of specialist equipment, resources and materials. Providing professional technical support to enhance the delivery of the curriculum by the Science department.
