Science Technician job summary

Science Technician

Grade 5

25 hours per week, term time only

Required September 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science Technician to join our Science Faculty to assist the technician team in the provision of technical and administrative support to the staff in the Science Faculty, with the flexibility to help out across all three different subject areas as required. Preparing experiments, advising on correct and safe use of equipment and clearing away. Candidates should be well organised and have the ability to work flexibly, independently as well as working as part of a team. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to GCSE standard, or equivalent in Science, Maths and English. Previous experience working in a science environment would be an advantage.


You may also be required to work at or travel to any of the MILL Academy Schools on an

occasional basis.
