Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Science Technician to join the department. The successful applicant would be expected to provide support to staff and students within the Science area.

Varndean School is an 11-16 school with around 1415 students, set in a picturesque south coast location in the vibrant and diverse city of Brighton and Hove. We are a Good (Ofsted 2017) and well-established school already, we have made rapid progress over the past couple of years and have no intention of resting on our laurels. The potential here is immense and the successful applicant will play a role in supporting our students to develop World Class Learning.

The Science department is a busy and productive part of the School and has a vibrant team of experienced leaders and support staff. The successful applicant would be expected to provide an appropriate level of support in an expansive, skilled and dynamic area of the curriculum with a wide range of subject choices on offer.
