About the role: Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School are seeking to appoint an outstanding Second in Charge - English who can contribute to the leadership of the English department and deliver high quality learning opportunities for all our students in English. The English department is highly successful and has a track record of delivering excellent outcomes for our pupils. The successful candidate would lead a Key Stage as well as taken on broader responsibilities across the department which will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will: be an outstanding classroom practitioner have an ability to teach and lead English be committed to enabling all students to achieve their full potential demonstrate enthusiasm for the subject This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis starting from April or September 2022, depending on the successful candidates availability, with a TLR of £4,783.
