• Degree in relevant subject

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to teach English
• Relevant classroom experience for the post
• Evidence of a successful track record in public examinations, attainment and progress
• Ability to teach A level
• Statutory requirements for teaching of the subject
• Ability to use data effectively to track and monitor progress
• Ability to lead targeted interventions based on data analysis
• Excellent class management and teaching skills
• Experience of effectively leading a team of staff

• Ability to teach at a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ level

St Augustine’s Catholic High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented, and innovative Teacher and second in charge of English who is committed to raising the progress and attainment of students of all abilities through outstanding learning and teaching.

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School was established in 1974 by the Archdiocese of Birmingham to serve the needs of Catholic families living in Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas and families of all beliefs.
