What skills and experience we're looking for
Kesgrave High School is seeking to appoint a talented leader to be second in department in Modern Foreign Languages for September 2023. Applications are welcomed from both full-time and part-time applicants. Applications from French specialists are particularly welcome. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly talented and committed team. The department has a great sense of collaboration and are fully committed to ensuring all students develop a love of Languages and achieve the highest possible standards. French is taught across the age and ability range from Year 7 to Year 13 and Spanish and German are taken by over half the cohort in Year 8 and 9 onwards as a dual language pathway. All three subjects are offered at KS4 and KS5.
The department has an impressive range of facilities, including well-resourced teaching rooms and resource areas. We also have the benefit of full reprographic and administrative support.
