Main Duties Include:

  • Support the Technical IT Manager and the IT Support Partner(s) to ensure secure ICT service availability for both internal and external access to Trust networks.
  • Manage efficient and timely responses to requests made to the IT Helpdesk, Assist the IT support team in remotely resolving issues and requests reported to the IT Helpdesk. Support for the Trust’s centralised ICT network as per the scope of IT.
  • Provide technical input and support during planning and implementation of project work as per the Trusts IT development plan.
  • Document common tasks and processes effectively to provide clear instructions for users of all levels of technical knowledge and ability.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in the education sector and recommend improvements based on this knowledge.
  • Identify potential gaps in cyber security and make recommendations on how to mitigate identified issues.
  • Monitor deployment of software and solutions across the trust to ensure the security of the network and devices is kept up to date

37 hours all year round

Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 16:30, Friday 8:30 -16:00
