SEMH Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to recruit two SEMH Learning support Assistants. This crucial role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering a positive learning environment.We are looking for self-motivated, passionate and flexible individuals with a "can-do" attitude who is committed to raising standards for those they work with. Supporting children across the school. You will have a real commitment to ensure every child works towards their potential. You will be required to support pupils through the lunchtime period.

You will be required to work 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only. This is a total of 32.5 hours per week.
Attendance at the annual safeguarding training is essential.
Desirable
Experience of supporting children in a school setting
Experience of working with children with additional needs
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
First Aid, or the ability to gain the qualification
Willing to undertake training and support individual needs
Information about the our School
Bushmead Primary School was formed in September 2000 following the amalgamation of the Bushmead Infant and Junior School. We are a vibrant, forward thinking school with welcoming staff, great community spirit and polite and well-behaved children.
We have 3 or 4 classes in each year group Foundation to Year 6.
The school's most recent Ofsted Inspection was in May 2023 in which it was rated as "Good" and is available on both the school's and Ofsted's website.
