SEMH Service Lead Practioner job summary
The Orchard is a new SEMH service, based at Wigmore Primary School and serving the Eastern Partnership of Luton schools.
We are looking for a teacher who is committed and passionate about children with social, emotional and mental health needs to lead a team of professionals who believe in inclusion and success for all students, giving them the best possible prospects for their future lives. We are ambitious in striving to meet individual needs and improving students’ learning opportunities.
We have high ambition for the children in academic achievements as well as social and emotional resilience. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning a highly engaging, adaptive curriculum, which ensures needs are met and pupils are able to thrive and make progress.
You will be joined by a part time Family Worker, and four Specialist Outreach Learning Assistants, and supported by a part time Admin Assistant. As the Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for the deployment of staff and timetabling which is best suited to the cohort.
