Working in collaboration with their colleagues in Norfolk County Council, the Governors are seeking to complete the staff team for the newly opening SEMH SRB Key Stage 2 class (in the first instance). There are three roles which involve contributing to a culture that expects the highest standards of care, teaching, learning, specialist support and safeguarding for the children in the Base. Working closely with the Lead Teacher and supported by the staff of St William’s and the wider network of SRBs in Norfolk, they will be part of an inspirational team in which all staff are supported to successfully fulfil their roles.

The successful candidates will take up their post in advance of the completion of the new-build Base. They will access training and observe other bases at work before the planned opening in October 2026.

Anyone interested in the post is invited to an information session at St William’s Primary School on Tuesday 5 May at 4.30pm. As well as meeting our Lead Teacher and members of the school staff team, there will be a chance to view the plans of the new building, speak to the Lead Teacher of an existing SEMH SRB and meet members of Norfolk’s SRB advisory team. This will help place the Base in the context of the school and of the wider network of Norfolk SRBs.
