SEMH Teacher job summary
Kaleidoscope Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher to its “Outstanding” rated school, Cloughwood Academy. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the education of a mixed age Key Stage 3/4 class of pupils. They will deliver a bespoke curriculum covering maths, English, phonics, humanities and independent life skills.
The successful candidates will enjoy an enhanced Academy pay offer and specialist allowance as well as the opportunity of a comprehensive annual CPD package and other benefits.
Successful candidates will understand the difference between this and other types of educational provision, know the challenges and demonstrate a desire to, and knowledge of what it takes to work successfully in this field.
Visits to the Academy are strongly recommended and will be available from the week commencing the 19
th
January 2026 until the closing date 5th February 2026. Please contact admin on 01606 537690 to arrange a visit.The successful candidate will have experience of teaching the National Curriculum, knowledge, and experience of Nurture and its importance when teaching pupils with SEND would be an advantage.

Although we offer an extensive training package to all our teaching staff, in addition to being an exceptional classroom teacher, knowledge of attachment disorder, sensory difficulties and autistic spectrum condition would also enhance any application.
