Pentland Field is a vibrant school, making a real difference to the pupils we work with. Pupils make progress in all areas of life, becoming young adults who know their own value, and are active members of their local community. Pupils work in smaller classes (10-14 pupils) with helpful, friendly and skilled Teaching Assistants. Pupils and staff are well supported by onsite therapy teams.
We are an all-through school meeting the educational needs of around 175 children and young adults aged 4-19 with a range of learning disabilities, including those who may be have physical or sensory needs or may have an Autism diagnosis.
Staff at Pentland Field School are passionately committed to helping all pupils unlock their potential. We are looking to appoint a new class teacher, who feels the same. We are looking for a September start but would be open to an earlier start for the right candidate.
