We are an outstanding special school for pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of complex needs. Our approach is rooted in care, respect and ambition: we expect the very best for our pupils and support them to achieve it. Our curriculum is unique, purposeful, creative and designed to unlock every child’s potential.

We are looking to appoint a talented teacher to lead learning in a class of children aged 11-16 who each have a range of complex needs and communication and interaction difficulties. Whilst the vacancy advertised is in Key Stage 3/4 our staff are sometimes required to teach in other phases of the school which includes Primary and Post 16. Flexibility is an asset!

Pupils have complex learning difficulties combined with other special educational needs such as behavioural difficulties or autistic spectrum disorders. A number of students have more complex learning needs including sensory and physical impairments and specific learning difficulties.
