Rowan Gate is a continually evolving and highly successful primary school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties. We are an inclusive school that, through challenging and fun opportunities and within a safe, secure and stimulating , aims to meet the education and care needs of our SEN pupils.

Due to our continuing growth, we are looking to recruit qualified, imaginative, creative and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidates will be high quality practitioners, with excellent class management skills and experience of working with pupils with a statement of educational needs in a primary school setting.

Rowan Gate Primary School is a multi site School, so successful candidates should be able and willing to work at any one of our sites. As far as possible staff will be allocated to a specific site on an annual basis but travel between sites may be necessary on occasion.

Rowan Gate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of the pupils in its care and all applicants should hold or be willing to undergo a DBS Enhanced Disclosure. Appointments will also be subject to a satisfactory medical assessment and satisfactory references from previous employers, among other checks.
