Two positions available - Full-time and 3 days a week.
We have two exciting opportunities for passionate, dedicated, and innovative SEN Classroom Teachers to join our team at West Hill School. We are looking for exceptional primary SEN teachers who can help our children to ACHIEVE as much as theypossibly canand FLOURISH in adult life. If you have prior experience this does not need to be from a special school, and we welcome and support teachers looking to transfer from mainstream. We welcome applications from ECTs and havea strong reputationfor positive support..
Our primary children work at least 3-4 years away from age-related expectations and all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan covering a range of complex learning difficulties, including speech and language difficulties,autismand/or medical needs. Our models of learning mean that our children are based in mixed aged groups of 10-12 children. All teachers coordinate a subject as part of a team. Weare able toconsider both opportunities to teach at KS1 or KS2 currently although we regularly promote and support staff to teach across our school.
