This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher.
This school serves a diverse and established community in the south east of the city.
In December 2016 the School converted to academy status becoming part of
Sheffield South East Trust (SSET), which unites six local schools (Manor Lodge
Primary, Wybourn Primary, Phillimore Primary, Norfolk Primary, Woodhouse West
Primary and Acres Hill Primary). https://www.sset.education/ These schools work
closely together for the benefit of the children and communities they serve. There are
many opportunities for support, training and networking between the schools, which
are all rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.
Manor Lodge Primary is a popular school and is currently oversubscribed within the
community. It was judged ‘Good’ by OFSTED in October 2019, under the most
recent framework. The school is committed to being highly inclusive and strives to
deliver a truly creative curriculum. The school has a newly built Specialist Integrated
Resource for FS and KS1 pupils with an EHCP indicating social and communication
needs. Early Years education is firmly embedded and the school has a dedicated FS
base. The school has extensive grounds and utilises them well. Manor Lodge
Primary is a vibrant and outward-looking school. The successful candidate will have
the opportunity to work with all stakeholders, continuing to move the school forward,
within a supportive local Trust. The Trust aims for schools to grow and flourish, by
being individual and closely aligned with the community they serve, whilst having
strong networks with other, similar, local schools in SSET.
