  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending staff meetings, INSET days, and potentially leading extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Athelstan Primary School

Athelstan Primary School is a wonderfully vibrant community, where children and adults from many diverse cultures, beliefs and backgrounds blend together to create Team Athelstan. We are an incredible team, who work very hard and who genuinely want to make the difference for all our pupils.

Everyone is a valued part of this team, and collaboration and co-operation are fundamental principles of how we can all learn and grow together to be the best that we can be; academically, socially, physically and spiritually. We want our children to aim high and recognise that with hard work, they can and will succeed. This means building on our strengths and reflecting on the areas where we can improve, striving for excellence in all that we do.

We also put great emphasis on respect for and from all, so that we can enable our children to be the best possible citizens in both our community and in wider society. This is encouraged through politeness, courtesy, basic manners, honesty and by taking responsibility for our actions at all times.

All stakeholders are urged to play an active part in our quest to be the best that we can be.
