Liskeard School and Community College is a friendly, caring, supportive school in Cornwall with people and relationships at its heart. It is a unique school of extraordinary staff and students and enjoys exceptional support from parents and the local community. We are proud of our school and we are relentless in our approach to make it even better. We take the education of our students very seriously.

Our school is situated in the historic market town of Liskeard, which is central to Cornwall’s outstanding south eastern countryside and coastline, serving the beautiful rural villages and hamlets and is just a scenic, 30-minute drive from Plymouth.

Assessed by Ofsted in March 2020 as a good school, we are an inclusive secondary community school delivering Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 to 1,100 students aged 11-18 and of mixed ability.

We are an academy school and part of the South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust (SMART), which provides for outstanding local career opportunities, excellent professional development opportunities and access to expert support, advice, guidance and knowledge pooling from fellow practitioners in our partner schools.
