Hours: 8:45am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, 28.75 hours per week

Nova Primary School are looking for an individual who is creative, can quickly build strong and supportive relationships and accelerate children’s learning and can utilise a range of strategies to help some of our most vulnerable pupils reach their potential, academically and personally. In your role you will work both inside and outside the classroom and must therefore be flexible, organised and a good communicator (with both children and staff). You will join a dedicated, highly supportive team who are committed to raising attainment for all and developing the child as an individual.
The successful candidate will be calm, caring and have a commitment to develop the learning and well-being of children. A high standard of English and maths is required and knowledge/ experience of special educational needs, specifically autism and ADHD, will be important.

Additional Opportunity:
We would like to draw your attention to another position available as a Breakfast Club Lead. This role would be able to run alongside the SEN Learning Support Assistant role as the hours at 7:30am-8:45am Monday-Friday. This role is a permanent position, on a Term Time only basis. Pay scale is BG5 N4-N5 £25,185 - £25,583, Actual salary is £3,639.23 - £3,696.74. This role is advertised separately, however the school would be happy to interview for both roles on the same day and time if you interested.
Fluency Duty
This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
