What skills and experience we're looking for

Required for September 2026 - 37 Hours per week. Term time only + inset days

We are seeking to appoint two skilled and committed practitioners to join our team:• SEND Resource Practitioner• Foundation Stage Practitioner

Are you passionate about supporting children and making a real difference to their learning and development? Whether your expertise lies in SEND or Early Years, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team.

SEND Resource Practitioner
Work within our specialist SEND Resource Provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. You will plan, adapt and deliver personalised learning, working closely with teachers and the SEND team to provide a structured, nurturing and inclusive environment.

SEND Early Years Practitioner (Foundation Stage)
Work within our Foundation Stage provision, supporting children with SEND at the start of their school journey. You will deliver high-quality, personalised and play-based learning, supporting early development, communication and independence in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

What the school offers its staff

We are looking for practitioners who:
• Have experience working with children in a school or early years setting
• Understand child development and/or SEND (depending on role)
• Can support and deliver learning for individuals and small groups
• Build positive, nurturing relationships
• Are patient, flexible and work well as part of a team

In addition:
SEND Resource role:
• Experience working with children with SEND
• Knowledge of strategies to support communication, learning and behaviour
• Ability to deliver structured, personalised support

Early Years role:
• Experience working with young children with SEND
• Understanding of EYFS and play-based learning
• Ability to support early communication, social development and independence
• Experience creating engaging, adapted learning environments

Your employment is with the Federation but will be based at Wilson Road. You may however be required to work at another location within the Federation and you will receive 4 weeks minimum notice of any change to your location of work.
