We are seeking two compassionate and motivated teachers to join our vibrant and friendly team at John Watson School. Whether you are experienced or looking for a rewarding career change, this is a genuine opportunity to support pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
John Watson School is a Special School in Wheatley. We cater for children with Special Educational Needs from the ages of 2 - 19 years. - Believe in values driven restorative principles
- Know that progress isn’t always linear, and that small steps are still meaningful
- Can balance high expectations with compassion, patience and flexibility
- Want to make a lifelong difference, not just deliver lessons
What we Offer

- Employee referral scheme (earn up to £500 for successful referrals)
- Highly resourced classrooms, small class sizes and access to multidisciplinary teams

About the Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ developmental needs
- Use assessment effectively to inform teaching, interventions and personalised progress
- Promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports wellbeing, independence and dignity

- Support and engage with our school improvement journey
