SEN Teacher job summary
We are seeking an outstanding, qualified SEN Teacher to work within our high performing Academy.
Your opportunity
This position is open to a specialist teacher who has a depth of understanding in SEN, particularly literacy and language development. It would suit someone who aspires to becoming a Lead Practitioner for SEN Interventions. For an exceptional candidate, there may be opportunities to support other academies within the Federation further develop their SEN intervention provision.

What we are looking for:
We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic SEN teacher who will be able to complement our dedicated team of outstanding practitioners. The successful candidate will be a SEN specialist with clear abilities and experience in literacy teaching interventions, who understands phonics and learning how to read. You will have a good understanding of the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning for students who have SEND and, ideally, working knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.
You must hold a postgraduate SEN qualification (for example in the area of literacy, dyslexia, or speech and language), as well as QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree to be considered for this vacancy.
