SEN Teacher - Maternity Cover job summary
Longspee Secondary are seeking to appoint, on a fixed term basis, an inspirational and high-quality SEN Class Teacher, who is looking for a rewarding role that is focused upon improving the outcomes and attainment of vulnerable learners.
As the SEN Class Teacher you would be expected to lead the learning of a class-team (pupils and staff). You will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for vulnerable learners. You will be highly skilled, creative and passionate in your teaching, and possess a track record of improving outcomes for young people. You will preferably have an understanding and experience of working with young people with additional needs including childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.
Longspee Secondary is a Specialist Provision for young people with SEMH needs and autism.
