SEN TEACHER
Overview
We are looking to recruit a talented, kind and inspiring SEN teacher to work with our experienced and caring team.
This post would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher, either with a background in primary or secondary education.
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver quality first teaching to a range of students either within our newly formed Y7 primary model dept or across KS3-5. These can be discussed further at interview.

About the role

You will be invited to attend regular training sessions and workshops run by highly experienced and qualified staff.
This is an ideal opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive and well-resourced school.
You do not need to have a specific subject that you can teach.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following key competencies:
a) Excellent classroom practitioner with a wide range of teaching skills: knowledge and understanding of teaching SEN across a broad spectrum of abilities;
b) High level inter-personal skills enabling effective collaborative working;
c) To be able to use classroom and behaviour management techniques effectively;
d) Ability to work collaboratively with and implement the advice of specialists working within the school (e.g. Speech and Language Therapists) in their own classroom.
Applications from ECT's, primary and secondary mainstream teachers as well as experienced SEN teachers who are eager to extend their SEN experience are welcome.
