SEN Teacher job summary

The Governors are looking to appoint an exceptional specialist part-time teacher from September 2025 to work in our EDEN (Educational Development Emotional Nurture) provision every morning, supporting children with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges. EDEN The pay scale is M1-M6 and placement within the provision will be in consultation with the candidate and in identifying their strengths.

We are looking for a teacher who has a strong understanding of special educational needs and extremely high expectations of both behaviour and children’s achievement, including those with complex learning needs. They

should be enthusiastic and hard-working, as well as being a good team player and willing to learn ‘The St Gregory’s Way’ which is trauma informed and based on a restorative approach to working as a team and helping children

learn. Having fun in the classroom is really important to us and we believe that our children learn well when they are challenged, supported, nurtured and enjoy themselves! If this is also your belief, then we would love to hear from you.
