What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our schools support team. You will be responsible with assisting and supporting class teachers in the provision of a high standard of care and a comprehensive educational programme designed to meet the physical and developmental requirements of pupils with additional support needs. These needs can arise from: the learning environment; medical and/or disability issues; familial circumstances; social and emotional issues.

The successful candidate must have a relevant Level 3 Qualification and GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English A*-C. You also need experience working with children with additional needs in an educational setting and understand the needs of children in a school setting.

Thispost is subject to all the relevant pre-employment checks set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an enhanced DBS certificate with a barred-list check. You will need be able to obtain satisfactory DBS clearance for this position.
