SEN Teaching Assistant 2 - Physical and Sensory job summary

The purpose of the role is to support our Pathway leader to deliver and implement strategies for pupils who require a bespoke, individual curriculum that supports their Physical and Sensory needs.

The role will include 4 days class based and 1 day non-class based.

This may involve teaching of individual/groups of children, the creation of and maintenance of resources, the development of learning spaces.

As part of the interview process, successful candidates will be asked to create a resource, or bring a previously made resource, that was created to meet the physical and sensory need of a pupil.

You will be asked to present this and discuss how the resource could or did meet the needs of that particular pupil.

Salary: starting from £17,308

Hours per week: 28.75, Term time only

Hours of Work 8.45am - 3.30pm
