SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has a warm, caring and nurturing personality with a friendly disposition.
  • Has experience of working with children in an educational setting.
  • Has an understanding of how to best to support SEND children.
  • Is able to develop positive relationships with children and parents.
  • Is able to work alongside our teachers, pastoral team, parents and outside agencies to support children’s learning and progress .
  • Has experience of Read Write Inc.
  • Is able to support pupils in development skills in independence, self-confidence, and social interaction.
  • Has high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour.
  • Is enthusiastic, flexible and organised with excellent communication skills and initiative.
