SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to join the team at Slade Green Primary.
This is an opportunity to become a part of a forward-thinking team where you can develop your skills as a valued member of our support staff. You must have the skills needed to work with SEND children; the ability to be able to plan and deliver bespoke interventions; and the ability to manage the different behaviours that each child exhibits at any given time.
You will work as part of the Teaching Assistant team, delivering high-quality support to SEND students and focusing on the following areas:
- Improving pupil achievement and progress;
- Improving the quality of teaching and learning;
- Improving the quality of the curriculum;
- 1:1 Support

This post falls within the scope of regulated activity. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS with list checks (and other relevant checks). This role will report into the SENDCo.
