What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. This is a Fixed Term post for 25 hours per week term time plus inset days. For the right candidates, we will also consider part-time requests for 15 hrs and 10 hrs over 5 days.
Applicants must:
- Be willing to support the strong ethos of the school
- Be kind, caring, energetic and enthusiastic
- Have a good standard of education (3 or more GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade A-C/L4 or above)
- Be organised, flexible and creative
- Be committed to promoting high standards of attainment and behaviour
- Positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children
- Be able to work as a team and adept at using own initiative
- Have a good understanding of, and passion for, the challenges and rewards of working with SEND.
