Work Pattern: Full-time
Contract Type: NJE Grade 3, points 5-7 Fixed term until the end of the academic year 2023/2024 (with a view to permanent)

The Forge Trust are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join The St Augustine’s Academy from September 2023.
Due to increasing children numbers we are seeking to appoint a dedicated and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will initially be based in Y1 but should also be happy to work within other areas if the need arises in the future. We are keen to appoint the right person to share their skills within our supportive team and successful school, and would welcome applications from both experienced and recently qualified teaching assistants.
- Do you have the skills and expertise to understand the needs of children?
- Do you have a proven track record of improving outcomes for all children?
- Do you have high levels of commitment to inclusion?
- Do you have sensitivity and understanding to build good relationships with individuals and parents and carers?
- Do you have good communication skills?
- Can you consistently and effectively implement agreed behaviour management strategies?
- Do you have knowledge of guidance and regulations around safeguarding?
