What skills and experience we're looking for
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification with regards to working with children, such as NVQ (desirable)
Experience:
Previous experience working with children
Education to secondary school level at least
Knowledge and understanding of child development and children’s and families’ needs
Understanding of special education needs and disabilities
Previous experience working in a school setting (desirable)

We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This child requires consistent, personalised support to access learning and thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to become immersed in our whole school community. We have a strong reputation for our inclusive approach to learning and form lasting relationships with our families and wider community. We are proud of our ambitious curriculum, which has been designed to respond to the interests and needs of our children.
The post is offered as a salary of Grade 3 on a fixed term basis, as it is linked to the EHCP of a pupil.
This is a part-time post for 18 hours and 20 minutes per week, working mornings only.
