Marshland St James Primary and Nursery School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Class Teacher/SENCo to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. We would love you to take your place with us in this fantastic role!

The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive CPD programme including SENCo induction sessions where they will benefit from a wide range of support from the SENCo Community. This professional network collaborate regularly online and in person at SEND surgeries, SENCo forums and by visiting each others' schools to develop best practice across the trust.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

  • Have experience of working as a Class Teacher and SENDCo in a primary school
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
  • Be able to work flexibly and professionally
