The Position

As described in the attached job description and person specification, you will be responsible for the management of all additional support given to pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities within the Academy. This will be a demanding, varied and highly challenging role that will provide an excellent career opportunity for an exceptional individual. The successful applicant will report directly to the Principal.

The successful applicant will have previous experience working as a SENCO. This will be a challenging role so you will need the drive and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and a passion for SEN, and understand issues affecting pupils with additional needs and how to support them.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
