What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding SEN practitioner with a strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people.You will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of effective support for children with SEND across the age range (3-11). We are looking for someone who is focused, resilient and passionate about securing the best outcomes for children.
The vacancy is for a full-time SENCo to lead the support and provision for children with SEND in our happy, caring school. The post has a two-day teaching commitment. The SENCo will oversee the statutory duties to support children with SEND, as well as working closely with the Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher and phase leaders to ensure the development of teaching and learning is meeting the needs of learners. Part time applications for a three day week SENCo will be considered.

Dunmore Primary School is a very successful, friendly, inclusive and happy school, built on excellent relationships between adults and children. We are located in Northcourt Road, Abingdon, OX14 1NR. There is also easy access via Farm Road, which is off the main Dunmore Road (opposite the new Abbey Fields Development).
