SENCO job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available at St John's Catholic Primary School to recruit a part-time SENCo to join our supportive and dedicated team from October 2026.

This position is for two days per week (FTE 0.4) and offered on the Teachers' Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale, with an SEN1 allowance, dependent on experience.

We are seeking a candidate who shares our values and ethos, has passion for primary education, and is committed to delivering the highest standard of learning for every child in our community.

St John's Catholic Primary School is a one form entry Catholic primary school in a lovely area of South West Herts, but within very easy access of the M25. In 2019, St John's became part of the All Saints Catholic Academy Trust (ASCAT), and is now part of a family of 11 schools within Hertfordshire.
