What skills and experience we're looking for
Temple Hill primary Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our vibrant school community. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide the highest quality of education for all our students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and a passion for removing barriers to progress and well-being. This role is for 3 days per week, fixed term until 31stDecember 2026, covering maternity leave.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and therefore is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. In line with KCSIE guidance, paragraph 220, all candidates who are shortlisted will be subject to an online search. This search is not part of the shortlisting process itself and all shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to address any issues of concern resulting from the search.
Two references are also required prior to commencement of employment.
