What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, creative and highly-skilled practitioner to undertake the role of SENCO from Easter 2026 or sooner.
This is a part-time role that equates to 3 days a week. The working pattern is flexible and will be discussed at interview.
We are looking for someone to further develop how our motto, “We Can Shine!”, is further embedded for our SEND children so that they have every opportunity to shine in our wonderful school.
The successful candidate will:
- be committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all children, especially those with SEND
- have a proven track record of excellent teaching and high expectations of themselves and others
- inspire and motivate others to empower every child to “shine”
- have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- have an eye for detail and consistently meet deadlines
