SENDCo (Part-time 0.4) L1 job summary

We are looking for an excellent SENDCo to join our team at Hertford Heath Primary School & Nursery. The appointment is a part-time, non-teaching position for two days per week. The post is available from January 2026 but can be delayed to February for the right candidate.

The SENDCo will take overall responsibility for leading and coordinating provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) for our children from Nursery to Year 6. They will ensure that every learner reaches their full potential.

This strategic role carries significant influence within the school, and as a member of our Leadership Team, they will shaping the outcomes, progress, and well-being of pupils with SEND. The successful candidate will drive inclusive practice, foster strong partnerships with staff, parents, and external professionals, and lead the continual development of high-quality SEND provision throughout the school.
