  • Encourage positive behaviour through consistency, reassurance and positive reinforcement.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, lunchtime supervisors and the SEND team to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Follow individual support plans and school procedures to maintain the pupil's safety, dignity and inclusion.
  • Help maintain a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment for all pupils.
What We're Looking For
  • A caring, patient and compassionate approach to supporting children.
  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and supportive in a busy school environment.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to inclusive practice.
  • Experience of working with children, particularly those with additional needs, would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while using initiative when required.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
